Bangor Fall Festival Master Class

September 19, 2009

Artistic Director Matthew Farmer will be giving two Master Classes in Contemporary and Modern dance as a part of the Fall Festival in Bangor,Michigan. Classes for beginners/intermediate, as well as advanced dancers will be available. Classes will be held at Bangor High School.

"A Modern Holiday"

Back for a second year, "A Modern Holiday" is a full length evening concert of dance that takes a fresh look at the holiday season and spirit. New repertory mixed with some old, holiday classics are mixed with a twist that only RusticGroove can deliver! Faculty and Guest Artist Concert

Join Jackson Dance Alliance and RusticGroove as they present an evening of works inspired by these three great artists: Duke Ellington,Edgar Degas, and Antonin Dvorak. Jackson Dance Alliance will be presenting works from their youth and children's dance classes in ballet, modern, and Jazz; all paying tribute to one of these three great artisans. RusticGroove Dance Company will pay a special visit to the concert in presenting several works from their repertoire, as well as new world premiers. Don't miss out on this evening of youthful joy, talented young dancers, and fun-loving performances.

RusticGroove Dance is partnering with Anderson University to host a summer dance intensive sure to inspire and grow any dancer who participates. Classes in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, World Dance Forms, Improvisation, and Repertory will be offered, as well as a concert to highlight the week. Take classes from RusticGroove's Artistic Directors and Company members, enjoy the peaceful surroundings only a campus such as Anderson University could offer, and experience dance as you never have before!
